The Role:

This role involves daily operation and maintenance of the water system, including supervising wastewater unloading from haulage trucks, adhering to established procedures for treating wastewater to meet regulatory standards, and operating pumps, valves, and basic control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the wastewater treatment plant and its associated equipment.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled minor maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct compliance checks and complete system performance reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong focus on occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Current drivers' license and willingness to undergo background check and pre-employment medical.
  • Desirable: Certificate II in Water/Wastewater Operations and mechanical aptitude.
