We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Coordinator to join our global Corporate Communications team at Orica. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in influencing Orica's employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and executing Orica's narrative and global key messages
  • Support the Orica Corporate Communications Strategy
  • Create and execute internal communication plans, campaigns, and activities to address the needs of Orica's employees
  • Write, review, and publish internal communications
  • Collaborate on and contribute to internal communications and online tools for company-wide messages
  • Manage and publish content across key channels like the intranet, virtual town halls, enterprise social networks, and digital newsletters
  • Find new ways to improve communications and improve the employee experience
  • Create visually appealing and engaging design content to enhance communications across all channels while managing and upholding the Orica corporate brand and its related materials
  • Support organisational change through effective internal communication with cross-functional teams
  • Create and deliver regular analytics to report on engagement and channel performance and proactively identifies opportunities to improve, based on analysis
Requirements
  • Degree in Communications
  • Minimum two years' experience post qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, influence, and execute
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders
  • Communications statistics and analytical experience
  • Software and Systems Design platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative or similar)
  • Video production platforms
  • Microsoft Office suite
Desired Experience
  • Industrial / B2B communications experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the markets in which Orica operates
  • Knowledge of mining, explosives, and blasting concepts
