Driving Profitable Growth in Motor Fleet Underwriting

We're seeking a seasoned Underwriting Manager to lead our Motor Fleet Underwriting team in NSW/ACT.

This key market-facing role will drive profitable growth in our portfolio while fostering collaboration across the sales and underwriting teams.

Key performance indicators include executing our go-to-market and underwriting strategy, managing new business and renewal portfolios, and advocating for change transformation within our Commercial business.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in Motor Underwriting with a comprehensive understanding of the general insurance industry.
  • Technical underwriting capability and leadership skills.
  • ANZIIF CIP membership or equivalent and relevant academic qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the broker market, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
