About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, season, and cook all items on our menu, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Expertly execute a range of dishes, from classic breakfast options to unique lunch creations.
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes, including regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure exceptional plate presentation and consistent portioning for all dishes.
  • Meticulously inspect incoming stock and foodstuffs for freshness and quality.
  • Adapt dishes to accommodate special dietary requirements while maintaining flavour and presentation integrity.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial cafe or restaurant kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast and lunch preparation techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene procedures.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
