Publicity Coordinator

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Publicity Coordinator to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the delivery of all PR campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients across arts and major events.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the publicity team.
  • Assisting in media liaison, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Preparing and managing media assets, including images and press kits.
  • Maintaining comprehensive interview schedules across clients and campaigns.
  • Coordinating the distribution of media releases and alerts.
  • Attending events and functions after hours to carry out media liaison duties and/or act as a representative.

This entry-level position is ideally suited to someone looking to enter into arts and entertainment publicity. Strong administrative skills, a willingness to learn, and confident phone manner are essential attributes for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general administration tasks.
  • Research, create, and maintain media contact database and lists.
  • Coordinate the distribution of invitations and manage RSVPs.
  • Monitor media coverage, prepare regular press updates for clients, maintain media logs across projects, and assist in compiling reports.

Essential Attributes:

  • Strong administration skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team as well as independently.
  • Confident phone manner, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal communication skills.
