Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Develop project design solutions, collaborate with various disciplines, and work on industry-defining projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to develop project design solutions.
  • Negotiate infrastructure solutions with authorities.
  • Project management, electrical system design, and lighting system design.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in Urban Redevelopment, especially residential sub-divisions.
  • Experience working with Energy Queensland for engineering drawings, reports, calculations, and schedules.
  • Local council procedures and applications experience.
  • Experience with road lighting and associated software to AS/NZS 1158 standards.
  • On-site data collection and survey procedures knowledge.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software.
  • Electrical engineering software proficiency.
  • Project management experience.

  • Inter-disciplinary package coordination.
  • Project management, including financial management and contractual negotiations.
  • Construction estimating and coordination of tenders.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering (CPEng & RPEQ highly regarded).
  • Relevant electrical and/or project software experience.
  • Computer programming experience.
  • Familiarity with Energy Queensland and TMR design standards and procedures accreditation with EQL highly regarded.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude and business acumen.
  • Project management skills.
