Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a skilled culinary professional to work in our remote Oil & Gas mobile camps in Queensland.
  • As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for 8 - 35 field staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Cook and serve nutritious meals
  • Manage the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and ordering supplies
  • Ensure compliance with strict food safety and HSE procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in laundry, cleaning, and meal transport as needed

Requirements:

  • Commercial cookery or food safety qualifications
  • Manual Driver's Licence (essential)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and extended periods away from home
