Field Supervisor Role

This is a key leadership position that involves leading and directing field staff and sub-contractors.

  • Lead, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of field staff and sub-contractors.
  • Undertake scheduling of work, staff and equipment to ensure production targets are met.
  • Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and assist in the training of all staff and sub-contractors.
  • Liaise with clients and customers to manage their network and plant effectively.
  • Liaise with public authorities for provision of services to the network and working in public areas.
  • Arrange reports to management and the customer on the status of work.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant technical qualifications such as a Cert III in Telecommunications.
  • Experience within copper and fibre networks.
  • Previous experience meeting targets and budgets.
  • A flexible approach and well-developed contract management skills.
  • A strong client focus and ability to negotiate with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail.
