We are seeking to appoint an experienced and reliable Area Manager to assist in delivering cleaning services to our valued customers. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to interact with customers and build a strong level of rapport.

This full-time position offers excellent working conditions, a car allowance, and hands-on training. This organisation prides itself on delivering the highest cleaning standards across multiple sectors including education, retail and commercial.

Providing services such as end-of-leaders cleans, strip and seals, and general commercial cleaning, this opportunity requires someone with excellent people management abilities and the willingness to help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interacting with customers to ensure that cleaning expectation levels are being met
- Assist in the hiring and training of new staff
- Managing multiple sites and providing general cleaning assistance
- Assisting with the maintenance of public areas and washrooms
- Use commercial cleaning equipment for both internal and external areas
- Manage company storeroom and stock levels
- Ensuring that a high level of cleanliness is being achieved
- Assist with ongoing training to ensure high standards are achieved

Key Requirements:

- C class driver's licence
- Previous experience with commercial cleaning and managing direct reports
- Ability to multi-task and quickly respond to customer needs
- Capability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Commitment to safety and standards

To be successful in this role you will be well-presented and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your ability to go that extra mile for your customers is essential in this role along with your team player approach.

You must be fit and healthy as you will be required to be hands-on throughout this role.
