About the Role

Monash Health is a leading healthcare provider seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Oncology Specialist to join our team at the Children's Cancer Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to children with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of new cancer treatments and therapies through research and clinical trials
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements

  • FRACP in Paediatrics (or equivalent) and registration with AHPRA
  • Substantial experience in clinical Paediatric Oncology and a strong academic and research track record in Children's Oncology research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
