Paediatric Oncologist Position

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Monash Health. As a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, contributing to ward service, the day oncology centre, and the after-hours on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the Head of Paediatric Oncology in providing high-quality services at Monash Children's Hospital.
- Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
- Be available for urgent consultation and assistance in the management of critically ill patients when on call.
- Support academic, research, and education in Paediatric Oncology.
- Contribute to the professional and corporate life of Monash Health by participating in appropriate committees and fora.
- Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high-quality accessible Paediatric Oncology services within allocated resources.
About You
We are looking for a Paediatric Oncologist with:
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications.
- Working with Children's Certificate.
- MBBS or equivalent.
- FRACP or recognised by RACP as a specialist in Paediatric Oncology.
- Current registration as a specialist in Paediatric Oncology with the Medical Board of Australia/AHPRA.
