About the Role:
Play a key leadership role in the day-to-day management of a youth justice precinct. Champion operational reform across key areas including program delivery, infrastructure use, rostering, and staff development. This is your opportunity to lead with purpose, build strong teams, and help transform young lives where it matters most.
Responsibilities:
• Strategically plan and manage the delivery of highly specialized operational services in a complex environment.
• Provide specialist advice to senior executives and stakeholders on strategic, programmatic, and service delivery issues related to the dual track model.
• Assist in workforce planning and effective deployment of personnel resources to meet priorities and objectives.
• Support the creation and sustainment of a workforce culture built on well-defined values, professional excellence, and teamwork to provide an effective and safe Youth Justice custodial system.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience within a Correctional, Youth Justice, or relevant Human Services environment.
• In-depth knowledge of current legislative requirements pertaining to a custodial environment.
• Experience leading and managing a team to deliver services in a complex environment.
• A Certificate IV in Youth Justice or higher degree in related fields are highly regarded.
