As part of this role, you will contribute to the education of Electrical Engineers both as undergraduates and postgraduates, working with partner Schools to deliver leading edge Renewable Power, AI/Robotics, Mechatronic, Software and Aerospace Engineering education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a research program that supports and complements existing research strengths in robotics.
  • Coordinating and teaching a range of relevant Electrical and Electronics engineering units, with the ability to implement innovative teaching practices including blended learning and authentic assessment.
  • Supervising undergraduate research students and higher degree research (HDR) students

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of high quality peer-reviewed publications in the area of robotics or machine learning and be able to demonstrate synergy with the School's and Faculty's existing research areas.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Completion of a doctoral qualification in Robotics, Machine Learning, or closely related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in engineering field.
  • A proven ability to contribute to a high performance and collaborative culture.
