About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced robotics engineer to join our academic team.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research, particularly in the discipline of robotics engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching:
- Design, coordinate, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in robotics engineering.
- Engage in curriculum development and innovation, incorporating online learning and alternative teaching methods.
- Develop and lead independent or collaborative research projects in robotics engineering, using best practice methodologies and ethical standards.
- Apply for external research funding and other support mechanisms to sustain and grow research activities.
- Contribute to the supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students in robotics engineering.
- Manage employee performance and oversee recruitment and selection of qualified employees.
- Develop partnerships with industry, government departments, and professional bodies in the field of robotics engineering.
- Exhibit leadership through mentoring and efficient management of internal service roles.
