Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Expert to join our team at Charterhouse. As a key member of our marketing and communications department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing internal communications strategies that drive business results.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented communications professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong writing, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement skills. You will work closely with our General Manager Communications to develop and execute campaigns and projects that support various teams across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that align with business objectives
  • Write and edit engaging content, including speeches, articles, and staff newsletters, to effectively communicate key messages to stakeholders
  • Support the rollout of internal branding and provide guidance to stakeholders on branding guidelines
  • Respond to media inquiries regarding education sector changes and provide expert advice to stakeholders
  • Play a key advisory role in various projects across the organisation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area such as communications or journalism
  • Minimum 5 years experience in communications, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with various departments and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and stakeholders
