The club is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as its Interim General Manager. This key leadership role will provide high-level operational guidance, assess the club's ongoing operational needs, and advise on the ideal structure to support our football operations.
Main Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Lead the club's strategic direction and structure in alignment with Committee guidelines and strategic plans
- Future Planning: Review and provide strategic recommendations for future operational structure within 5 months
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the Operations Manager and Operations Team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Operational Excellence: Provide high-level leadership to staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Financial Management: Manage financial resources, oversee budgeting, and ensure effective revenue generation
- Sponsorship & Growth: Develop and implement sponsorship and grant programs, driving growth in funding opportunities
- Marketing & Communications: Develop and manage marketing, branding, and communication strategies to enhance the club's visibility and reputation
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to governance, OH&S, and child safety requirements, establishing robust risk management systems
- Representation: Represent the club at public events, external meetings, and football industry forums, promoting the club's interests and values
