Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to the leadership of oceanographic moorings sub-facility and develop data products, including climatologies, statistics, and trends.

About the Role

  • Process large geophysical datasets, quality control and disseminate real-time oceanographic data.
  • Analyse and critically assess oceanographic data, providing valuable insights for decision-making.

About You

  • Hold a PhD or equivalent experience in physical oceanography or a related field.
  • Proficient in programming languages, including Matlab or Python, and NetCDF.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
