Instructional Design Specialist

Experience in Instructional Design is key to success in this role. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing compliant, high-quality training materials.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop compliant training products and integrate feedback.
- Design and review documentation using established templates and instructional design principles.
- Conduct compliance checks and map content against competency frameworks.
- Apply evidence-based instructional theories and human-centred design principles.
- Support SMEs and team members to ensure confidence and alignment with training goals.
- Assist with graphics, e-learning resources, and user testing to validate learning solutions.
- A strong understanding of the ADDIE Cycle, SADL, and AQSA requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a liaison between SMEs and development teams.
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable).
- A background in instructional design, compliance, and/or graphic design is advantageous.
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
