About The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Designer to join our aerospace team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. In this role, you\'ll design and develop compliant, high-quality training materials and act as the key link between SMEs and instructional development.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop compliant training products and integrate feedback.
  • Design and review documentation using established templates and instructional design principles.
  • Conduct compliance checks and map content against competency frameworks.
  • Apply evidence-based instructional theories and human-centred design principles.
  • Support SMEs and team members to ensure confidence and alignment with training goals.
  • Assist with graphics, e-learning resources, and user testing to validate learning solutions.
About You
  • Strong understanding of RTO development, the ADDIE Cycle, SADL and AQSA requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as the "glue" between SMEs and development teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable).
  • Background in instructional design, compliance, and/or graphic design is advantageous.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
