About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Community Engagement Specialist to join our People & Culture team at Fivecast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a collaborative and connected company culture through the planning and execution of community events, initiatives, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Plan and coordinate 30 annual social events and initiatives for our Adelaide office, including company hikes, welcome lunches, competitions, team breakfasts, and after-work social events.
    • Manage end-to-end event logistics, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Create event marketing and promotion through our in-house social channels, email campaigns, and community boards.
    • Prepare post-event reports to review event success and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Community Engagement and Support
    • Support across other community and engagement projects, including ordering office supplies, coordinating employee recognition programs, creating slides for company-wide Townhalls, and managing internal branded merchandise.
    • Coordinate the bi-annual staff engagement survey and support the induction program for new joiners with first-day office tours, pass allocation, and desk setup.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
    • Australian citizenship.
    • Experience in event coordination or planning, either paid or volunteer.
    • Positive attitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse people.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Excited to help build connection and a community through memorable experiences.
    • Proficient in using Outlook and basic Excel skills.
    • Studying or completed studies/qualifications in event management, communications, or marketing (desirable, but not required).
