AustralianSuper is seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead a focused team of Application Engineers in developing internal, business-facing applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development and engineering, with experience in leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Application Engineers in developing and delivering internal applications that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and citizen developers to identify and prioritize application development projects.
- Oversee the development and implementation of application engineering best practices and standards.
- Motivate and inspire the team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
- Develop and manage the team's annual and quarterly business plans to ensure alignment with AustralianSuper's strategic goals.
- Lead the team to operate and make decisions according to AustralianSuper's Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in application development and engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in leading application development teams.
- Strong knowledge of application development and engineering best practices and industry standards.
- Experience working on projects in financial institutions or other regulated environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
