We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Upper South West. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with other support staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Administer medication and perform other tasks as required.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or equivalent.
- Swim ability and willingness to enter the pool with customers.
- Experience in bowel care, dysphagia, and epilepsy, or willingness to train.
- Previous experience in manual handling and medication administration.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle (with rebates available).
