We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our road maintenance team as a Ganger (Leading Hand). This role involves providing onsite guidance and assistance to a small team of employees to ensure delivery of quality road maintenance and vegetation management programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to a small team of employees in road maintenance and vegetation management.
- Ensure delivery of quality road maintenance and vegetation management programs.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Proven experience and ability to perform labouring duties associated with vegetation management, including trimming of tree branches and operation of spray truck equipment.
- Demonstrated good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated good customer service skills with the ability to communicate with the community in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstrated digital literacy with experience and competence in computer and devices (e.g. tablet, iPhone) applications.
- A salary range of $63,300 to $72,600 per annum (plus 12% superannuation).
