Job Title: Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our road maintenance team.

Job Description:

This role involves general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides, including roadside vegetation management, concreting and finishing, pipe laying and sign installation.

The successful candidate will be able to operate various items of minor plant and equipment and perform a range of physical labouring duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council's values of creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in general maintenance duties.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).
