About the Role

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS 5 Level Co-Design & Engagement Officer to contribute to the development and implementation of engagement strategies that shape policies and improve services in the disability sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and manage moderately complex to complex tasks in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Support policy development and community engagement initiatives in collaboration with people with disabilities, their families, and carers.
  • Proactively manage engagement activities, forums, and events to increase participant social and economic participation.
  • Communicate clear and consistent messaging to a variety of stakeholders, including mainstream services and community representatives.

  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems efficiently.
