HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS6 Level Co-Design and Engagement Officer for a dynamic team. If you have a passion for stakeholder engagement and co-design, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in the disability sector.

About the Role

  • As the APS6 Level Co-Design and Engagement Officer, you will play a critical role in driving the success of co-design initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating co-design working groups, workshops, and events.
  • Developing materials for co-design meetings and events is also a key aspect of this role.
  • You will contribute to the development and monitoring of co-design and engagement strategies.
  • Facilitating workshops to generate insights and produce effective workplans is a key responsibility.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
  • You will support the NDIA's participation in co-design activities, including information sessions, forums, and webinars.
  • Preparing reports, briefing papers, and other documents for senior executives is also a key responsibility.

  • This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of working with people with disability.
  • Proven co-design experience, ideally within a community or policy environment, is also essential.
  • You will have expertise in human-centred design and co-facilitation of workshops.
  • Strong project management skills, including strategic planning and delivery, are also required.
