Field Service Technician/Engineer Role in Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking skilled professionals to work as Elevating Work Platform (EWP) technicians in our global organization. This position is based in Melbourne and involves supporting customers across Australia and New Zealand.

  1. Maintenance of EWP and Material Handling products in the field and workshop environments.
  2. Inventory management responsibilities.
  3. Routine travel and client engagement activities.

Candidates should possess:

  • Australian Trade certified qualifications in mechanical or auto-electrical fields.
  • Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, and repair procedures for construction or agricultural equipment.
  • At least 2 years post-trade experience with Australian EWP equipment (preferably).
  • High attention to detail, proficient computer, and communication skills.
  • Reliability, innovation, and ambition for career growth.
  • Current work rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • A valid Australian driver's license.

We provide a service vehicle, phone, internet, computer, and comprehensive product training.

Key Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a service engineer in the mechanical or related industry.
  • Knowledge of equipment rental companies in Australia (advantageous).
  • Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of customer dynamics.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
