Agricultural Machinery Service Technician – Full-time

Annual base salary + Superannuation + Bonus Structure

Job Location: Melbourne

About you

You are a hands-on, mechanically skilled technician with a minimum of 3+ years experience with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail. You take pride in delivering high-quality service and technical support to customers, ensuring machinery is maintained, repaired, and performing at optimal levels. Experience with repair and maintenance of agricultural equipment brands like John Deere, Case IH, or New Holland will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Service Manager
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance, after-sales service, and repair of agricultural machinery including tractors and harvesters
  • Provide technical support to agents and work closely with the product line for proactive rectifications
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify equipment faults
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance for newly arrived and in-service machinery
  • Visit customer sites to perform maintenance and provide ongoing service and support
  • Ensure timely availability and ordering of parts, supporting the achievement of accessory sales goals and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace safety (EHS) and cleanliness
  • Submit accurate service reports within required timeframes
  • Collaborate with the China Representative Engineer/Sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in continuous learning and on-the-job training for problem-solving and technical upskilling
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience in agricultural machinery service, preferably with John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, or similar brands
  • Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills
  • Understanding of agricultural equipment systems and components
  • Familiarity with customer service and technical support environments
  • Commitment to safety, quality standards, and professional service delivery
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently in field environments and adapt to varying customer needs
