Salary

This full-time (38hr) opportunity offers an estimated hourly rate of up to $29.04, plus superannuation, commission, and weekend & public holiday loading.

Job Description

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store team in delivering exceptional client experiences and exceeding sales targets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the standard for excellent client service and embodying Sephora's DNA
  • Driving a selling culture through coaching and supporting team growth and development
  • Utilizing reporting data to inform operational decisions and drive business results
  • Facilitating open communication and providing effective feedback to team members
  • Serving as the point of contact for client and cast member matters in a fast-paced environment

You will have the opportunity to work across various product categories, including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness, as well as store functions such as sales, management, and back-of-house operations. Our initial onboarding training and continuous learning program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Previous retail management experience, particularly in managing profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management, stock control, and visual merchandising
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite to interpret and input data for daily reporting
  • A hands-on leadership style, with a passion for motivating and coaching team members
  • An understanding of excellent client service and experiential retail principles
  • A drive for results, with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
