Pastoral Care Volunteer

Support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly people living in an aged care home as a pastoral care volunteer. You'll supplement and complement the work of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator, actively involved with a local Christian church.

  • Under the direction of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High level of interpersonal skills including strong empathy and listening skills
  • Pastoral Care training or experience

Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
