Role Overview

The Pastoral Care Volunteer plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly people living in residential aged care homes.

As a volunteer, you will work closely with a local Christian church to supplement the work of our Residential Pastoral Care Coordinator.

  • Support individuals to meet their spiritual needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills
  • Pastoral Care training, such as Chaplaincy or Clinical Pastoral Education

National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for plus NDIS Worker Screening Check

Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability, between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday
