About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Site Manager to join our QLD Operations team to assist on a project located in a regional area. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for achieving optimum production and cost outcomes through the management of direct staff and subcontractors while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment and committing to environmental and sustainability requirements.
You will need to be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organized, and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of direct staff and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to drive and deliver successful projects.
- Demonstrable understanding of safety, health, and environment best practice.
- Solid communication and management skills.
