About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to join our QLD Operations team. As a key member of our site-based team, you will be responsible for achieving optimum production and cost outcomes through the management of direct staff and subcontractors, while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment and adhering to environment and sustainability requirements.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well organised, and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of direct staff and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment regulations and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to promote effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Supervisor or equivalent in commercial construction projects.
  • Proven ability to drive and deliver successful projects.
  • Demonstrable understanding of safety, health, and environment best practice.
  • Solid communication and management skills.
