Job DescriptionThis full-time role is based in the Ipswich/Logan regions and involves working closely with our Urban Development division on a large subdivision project.
- Provide onsite support, upskilling, and facilitation of incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Partner with the project team to support proactive management of key health and safety risks and provide advice in line with WHS Management System.
- Conduct WHS Audits and report on findings.
- Implement and develop WHS strategies, initiatives, training, and coaching.
- Coordinate site-based health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in all areas of the WHS function.
- Diploma in WHS and Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE).
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification.
- Previous experience on Civil Construction projects.
- First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems.
- Pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work procedures.
- A Safety Differently/Safety II mindset.
- A team player with a can-do attitude that includes assisting disciplines other than WHS.
- National Police Check.
