We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Business Development and Acquisitions teams at DevelopmentWA.

This is a key leadership position that requires a deep understanding of land development analytics, feasibility concepts, and financial analysis methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying property development opportunities, analyzing market trends, and providing strategic guidance to support the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Business Development Managers and Acquisitions Managers to achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends and activity, including land development analytics and feasibility concepts
  • Provide leadership and support for direct reports, appraise their performance, and ensure employees complete required training and development opportunities
  • Develop and critically review high-quality written work, including financial analysis reports and feasibility studies
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and other key partners
Requirements
  • Proven leadership skills with experience providing direction, support, and guidance to teams
  • Advanced management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
  • Knowledge and experience of planning, land development, and/or property issues, with an understanding of land and property matters relating to the public sector
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex problems
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a property-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role
