Protech Group is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team at Lake Vermont Mine.

The roles are Full Time with the client at commencement.

Lake Vermont Mine is based in the Bowen Basin, offering a unique opportunity to work in open-cut production mining.

We have multiple vacancies for Heavy Equipment Operators with experience in operating relevant machinery.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe operation of heavy mobile plant equipment at Lake Vermont Mine.

You will collaborate closely with your team and wider site to achieve safe, high-quality results.

The roles offer a rotating 7-day on, 7-day off roster, alternating between day and night shifts (12.50-hour shifts).

To be eligible for these positions, you are required to have the following:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in open-cut production mining operating relevant machinery
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Training Transcript signed by SSE or evidence of proficiency in relevant machinery
  • Standard 11 Certificate (willing to obtain)
  • Coal Board Medical (willing to obtain)
  • Proof of Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement
