Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Middlemount Coal Mine.

About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile plant machinery at Middlemount Coal Mine. You will collaborate with your team and the wider site to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Suitable candidates must have a minimum 12 month's experience in open-cut production mining operating relevant machinery
  • Valid Drivers Licence;
  • A skills list signed by SSE or evidence of proficiency in relevant machinery
  • Standard 11 Certificate (willing to obtain)
  • HA - Coal Board Medical (willing to obtain).
  • Proof of Australian working rights;
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement
