Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the coal mining industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment, including dump trucks, on a productive coal mine.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will work on a 6/6 roster of days and nights, with camp and meals provided. Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, offering a unique chance to gain experience in a leading industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CAT 789, 797, or 793 dump truck on a productive coal mine
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience operating heavy equipment, specifically dump trucks
- Coal Board Medical certification, standard 11, and current driver's license
- Skills List (signed by SSE)
