Renewable Energy Contracts Specialist

About the Role:

  • We seek a highly skilled professional to play a key role in ensuring contractual compliance on industry-leading renewable energy projects with upstream and downstream experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to work on the largest renewables projects, providing guidance on key contractual provisions, assisting in managing contractual risks, and ensuring compliance with contractual timeframes and mechanisms.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of correspondence, notices, and claims to clients.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Construction, Utilities, Energy, or a similar project-based environment.
  • Essential: experience with upstream and downstream negotiations, with the ability to formulate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Essential: ability to understand design and construction contracts.
  • Desirable: experience working with an in-house legal team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with various stakeholders.
  • High-level contract administration, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Qualifications in Law, Construction Management, Business Management, or Project Management are highly regarded but not essential.
