Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of parts while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
- Oversee and have responsibility for inventory optimisation across Wholesale Distribution and National Retail Branches.
- Manage the performance of the National Inventory Management Support (NIMS) and OEM/OES/IAM purchasing officers within the parts team.
- Manage the purchasing function of parts by establishing controls, budgets and systems and have responsibility for the effectiveness of purchasing and disposal strategies nationally ensuring minimal obsolescence.
- Monitor the performance and procedures for national retail warehouses for all parts portfolios including the co-ordination of companywide inventory cyclical stocktakes.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the PAU supply chain including the implementation of supply chain initiatives and managing projects.
- Develop reports relating to the performance and cost control of inbound and outbound Parts (PDC & Branches).
What You Bring:
- A strong foundation in Purchasing and Inventory Management fundamentals.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A knack for problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Expertise in both domestic and international freight arrangements.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and data presentation.
- A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to teamwork.
