National Service Manager

Cappro Pacific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Brisbane workshop and overseeing the management of three other locations on the eastern seaboard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support interstate workshop managers in relation to their day-to-day workshop matters, including upcoming jobs and planning, resources, and HR matters.
  • Provide a direct, central point of support for national workshop teams.
  • Provide day-to-day running, work planning, and scheduling for Brisbane workshop, including their direct technical requirements.
  • Liaise with customers, understand their needs, and deliver required levels of workshop support.
  • Optimize workflow and service delivery, ensuring high levels of workmanship and quality control.
  • Manage workshop-staff related matters, including training, development, and disciplinary action.
  • Dynamically prioritize work and resources as work requirements and situations develop.
  • Work with upper management on job development, strategies, and future planning.
  • Ensure workshop staff and managers have what's required to complete tasks effectively.
Requirements:
  • A strong mechanical background, including time on the tools and an excellent understanding of modern heavy equipment.
  • Trade-qualified mechanic with heavy equipment experience, crushing and processing equipment experience highly regarded.
  • People-management skills, covering all aspects of managing staff effectively.
  • The ability to motivate and bring the best out in people, including their development.
  • Well-developed customer service skills in a workshop management environment.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and computer skills.
  • The ability to think on your feet with a good problem-solving ability.
  • The ability to work under pressure and in dynamic situations.
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Australian citizen or PR with a driving license.
