Job Description

The Communications and Corporate Affairs Group plays a vital role in building and leveraging media and strategic stakeholder relationships to enhance awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes.

This role is part of the Corporate Affairs team within the CCA Group, responsible for consumer communications, corporate reporting, events, and communications, as well as developing strategies for the group.

  • Develop and deliver advertising campaigns ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Design and support communication strategies that align with research insights.
  • Brief agencies on creative, research, and media buying tasks, driving desired outcomes.
  • Oversee the development of media plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with consumer education campaign objectives.
  • Manage paid media campaigns, including benchmarking, tracking, and evaluation.
  • Prepare key campaign documentation, such as briefs, submissions, and progress reports.
  • Supervise the execution, monitoring, and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with current marketing trends.
  • Good understanding of the Australian Government advertising process is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing large-scale advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in briefing and managing research, creative, public relations, and media buying agencies.
  • Experience in government communications.
