Overview

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled trainer and adoption specialist to join our team in delivering Dragon Medical One, a cloud-based speech recognition platform, to healthcare customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in training and supporting clinicians in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and a passion for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes through the use of speech recognition technology.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on Dragon Medical One and EMRs
  • Leading clinical engagements to identify areas of improvement and design training strategies to enhance workflows and build efficiencies
  • Delivering training sessions to healthcare professionals on how to use Dragon Medical One effectively and efficiently with their EMR
  • Providing enablement training and support to customer training resources
  • Providing feedback to the project team to capture the clinician experience
  • Supporting the embedding of Dragon Medical One to ensure alignment with customer clinical, operational, and regulatory needs
  • Monitoring and analyzing data points to proactively manage customers to high adoption, utilization, optimization, and satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as health informatics, education, or nursing
  • At least 3 years of experience in training and supporting clinicians in using EMRs, preferably Cerner
  • Experience and solid knowledge of EMR workflows, clinical documentation, and quality improvement
  • Experience and proficiency in using Dragon Medical One or other speech recognition solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required
