About this opportunity

As a Home Care Worker with Wellways, you will work closely with our participants to ensure their individual needs are met. You will deliver a wide range of services to support their activities of daily living, including companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management.

About You

You're a caring, empathetic and passionate individual who is looking to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You're a team player who is able to work independently and follow direction. You're also committed to providing person-centered support to our participants.

What do you need?

  • Certificate lll in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (Desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Police Records Check (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling training is desirable, but you will receive training if needed
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
