Technology, Media and Telecommunications Specialist

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working arrangements. You will have the opportunity to work on significant transactions and advise clients across various sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Telecommunications and data centers - projects, regulatory, M&A transactions.
  • Data & AI - governance, regulatory advice, compliance, investments.
  • Cyber - incident response, law enforcement engagement, regulatory advice.
  • Outsourcing - technology and business process outsourcing.
  • Corporate - business separations, systems integrations, carve outs.
  • Digital transformation projects.
  • Startups and Innovation - advisory, transactions, capital raises.
  • Media - regulatory matters, broadcasting rights.
Requirements

You will have experience in a TMT team within a top-tier law firm, focusing on TMT work. Knowledge of Australian privacy, data protection, and cyber laws is also essential. Experience in drafting and negotiating IT/telecommunications contracts is preferred.
