Maritime Engineering Expert

We are seeking an experienced Maritime Engineer to lead our multidisciplinary projects from concept to delivery. This role will involve hands-on involvement in design, modelling, and advisory work.

Your primary focus will be on growing our presence in the Ports, Terminals & Shipyards sector, with a significant portion of your time dedicated to business development and strategic client engagement. You will also play a key role in expanding into the Defence maritime market, a rapidly growing area of national significance.

In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to mentor and develop junior engineers while contributing to thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing. Additionally, you will represent the company at industry forums and client meetings, building strong relationships and market credibility.

  • We are looking for a seasoned professional with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 10-15+ years' experience in maritime engineering, with significant Australian consulting experience.
  • A strong network in Ports & Terminals is essential, and experience in the Defence sector is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will hold Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ qualification or be working towards it.
  • Proven ability in business development, account leadership, and strategic growth is required.
  • A confident communicator with commercial acumen to lead both people and projects is essential.
