Your Impact

As a Principal Engineer and Market Lead, you will:

• Lead multidisciplinary maritime projects from concept to delivery, with hands-on involvement in design, modelling, and advisory work
• Grow our presence in the Ports, Terminals & Shipyards sector, with 30–40% of your time dedicated to business development and strategic client engagement
• Play a key role in expanding into the Defence maritime market, a growing area of national significance
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while contributing to thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing
• Represent the company at industry forums and client meetings, building strong relationships and market credibility

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10–15+ years' experience in maritime engineering, with significant Australian consulting experience
• A strong network in Ports & Terminals (essential); experience in the Defence sector (preferred)
• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ qualified (or working toward)
• Proven ability in business development, account leadership, and strategic growth
• A confident communicator with the commercial acumen to lead both people and projects
