Job Title: Cook or Chef

We are seeking a skilled Cook or Chef to join our team at ALH Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment
  • Baking, grilling, steaming or boiling fish, meat, vegetables and other foods
  • Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Keeping up with cooking techniques and methods
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a hands-on, team-focused bistro-style kitchen
  • Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
  • An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Trade cooking qualifications are essential
  • Flexible availability
