Early Childhood Teacher Opportunity

Uniting supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program.

Our service is located in Condell Park and we celebrate and welcome the wonderful diversity of our children, families and team. Within our warm and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments, every child is valued as an individual with a unique personality, interests and needs.

This opportunity is for a full-time contract position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the educational program for the children.
  • Provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Teaching / Early Childhood Education.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an ECT (experience working as educational lead advantageous).
  • A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
