Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Manager to lead our residential aged care community. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, personalized care to all residents.

Key responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and implementing nurse care plans, assessing, planning, and evaluating existing care plans, performing comprehensive assessments, investigating issues and incidents, participating in compliance audits, and actively supervising, training, and mentoring all RNs and PCWs.

  • Clinical Governance: Ensure the highest standards of safety, clinical practice, and governance are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of registered nurses and personal care workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Resident Care: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare partners and families to deliver best-practice care. A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for leading a team of professionals is essential.

The successful candidate will also require:

  • A current Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration.
  • Experience as an Aged Care Manager or Coordinator, preferably within a residential aged care setting.
  • Knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation processes, and auditing procedures.
  • Fluency in English language, both spoken and written.
